How to become a Heartland Agdeavor Association Member
Membership Classifications
The Heartland Agdeavor Association has three classes of memberships. They are;
- Producers: Producer memberships are agricultural producers who have production risk.
- Partners: Partner memberships are for-profit or not-for-profit firms, and associations.
- Affiliates: Affiliate memberships are for others not qualified as producer or partner members. Affiliate memberships are for individuals as well as entities such as public or quasi-governmental organizations, professional societies, universities and individuals that are not farmers.
Membership Dues
There are two dues that members must pay. They are:

Initiation Dues: This is a one-time fee paid for
joining the organization. It is paid at the time of joining the
organization. The initiation dues varies with the membership
class. The initiation fees by class are;
- Producers: A one-time $800 fee. [New members may be given permission to pay 50% of the initial fee ($400) with their application and to pay the remaining 50% of the initial fee ($400) and their second year of membership.] See Producer Membership Application Form for more detailed information.
- Partners: The partner fee varies from $800 to $5,000 depending on business sales volume or organization membership. See Initiation Fees table in the Partner Membership Application for a detailed breakdown on the partner initiation fees.

- Annual Membership Dues: The annual membership dues is paid every year on the anniversary of joining HAA. The annual membership dues are $200 per member for all members in all classes.
Please Note: Both the initiation dues and the first annual membership dues are payable at the time of joining the organization. For example, this means a producer will pay $1,000 ($800 initiation dues plus the $200 annual membership dues) at the time of application.
